What a deal for the location. We were right in the heart of Gion. This place was a perfect location for us and we were able to stop back if needed something or a rest while exploring Gion. You are right by the bus stations and off of the main bridge and intersection. This place had a spacious shower/bath and a good sized room for Japan. The staff at the front was super nice. It was everything we needed and more. The rooms are very spacious and have a good sized bathroom. I loved they had a “wet room” equipped w a shower and bath tub. The bath tub also had jets so it was perfect to lie down in after a long day of walking the city. The pressure on the shower was excellent as well. It had a large tv with plenty of movies to watch too. Loved my stay here and would definitely return. The surrounding area has everything you could possibly want or need and it’s all within a walkable distance. The only thing that wasn’t great was the rock hard bed and pillows and the paper-thin walls through which we could hear EVERYTHING people in other rooms were doing as well as traffic noise.
