Typically, a luxury stay in Kuta will consist of a resort complex, containing a mixture of rooms and separate cottages or villas. Kuta is famous for is its restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which come to life every night of the week. It is well worth leaving the boundaries of your luxury resort complex to sample the lively nightlife of Kuta.
When it comes to dining in Kuta, you’ll find a range of international and local-style restaurants to suit every pocket. Poppies Lane II is well known for its bars, and tends to attract a slightly more laid-back crowd than other parts of Kuta. Revellers often start their night out here before moving to the busier bars and clubs. You’ll also find a number of bars with great views along the beachfront.
As Bali grows as a tourist destination, more and more luxury accommodation developments are opening here. A high-end, purpose-built holiday destination has opened up at Nusa Dua Beach, around 8 miles south-west of Kuta. Behind its manned security gates is a number of luxury hotels and exclusive complexes, a fine stretch of golden sand beach and shops and a golf course.
Consider booking a high-end hotel in Kuta during the off-season to get a lower price.
