Staff & hotel was great, highly recommend for that part but do not drink at the pool bar. 7 adults drank from their cocktail menu (obviously cheap house spirits) and ended up violently vomiting, blacking out, eyesight loss & couldn’t stand. Very very scary experience and happened to all of us. Please be aware as I never want anyone to experience what I did.

Once again I’ve had the pleasure of staying at The Stones in Legian, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel boasts a stunning atmosphere, enhanced by its beautifully designed interiors and well-maintained facilities. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the remarkable staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel right at home. The culinary offerings throughout our stay were a delight. Each meal was not only delicious but also served with a flair that added to our overall enjoyment of the holiday. Whether it was breakfast by the pool or happy hour beers or cocktails at the swim up bar, the food and drinks consistently exceeded our expectations. I would especially like to commend Yuli, Sari, Krisna, Nanda and the entire hotel staff for their unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as pleasurable as possible, attending to our every need with a smile and a positive attitude. In conclusion, The Stones is more than just a hotel; it’s a destination where you feel valued and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to create unforgettable memories in Bali.

The Stones is a really nice, clean hotel with plenty to offer. Breakfast has a great variety, and the pool is huge, warm (perfect if you’re not a fan of cold pools), and nicely shaded in the afternoon. Because the resort is so spacious, it never feels crowded and you can usually find a sun lounge without any issue. The pool bar also has a good selection. It’s quite popular with younger families, it was school holidays so I guess it's expected. But the layout means it still feels relaxed and not overly busy. There are plenty of beach bars directly across the road, which makes it easy to head out in the evening for sunset drinks. Cons: Food and drinks within the hotel are on the expensive side. The front section of the property also feels a bit run-down and unused, with several closed and empty areas — although this seems fairly common in parts of Legian. The location isn’t particularly central, so getting anywhere requires a decent walk or a taxi. For families, especially, return trips can get pricey due to traffic and one-way streets. Bikes are definitely the easiest way to get around.

Stones Hotel in Legion is amazing. Very high quality rooms (baths on some of the balconies). Very large beds. Excellent TV channels, good curtains so its dark if you have jet lag and air con is 24/7 on all floors. The thing that makes the Stones so special is the staff. All of the team are very friendly, professional and make you feel special. Particular thanks to Sari, the guest relations team who gave us some really good local tips and made us feel special as one of us had a birthday. The overall facilities are excellent. Its a full 4 star hotel with 5 star staff.
