"The staff are excellent from the front desk to breakfast room to house-keeping. My room was 15 meters from the train station and I could hear announcements and obviously, trains. However, with the windows and doors closed, it was surprisingly quiet. "

Little touches include the little note at breakfast announcing the forthcoming performance, the apéro in the afternoon before a shuttle-bus trip to and from the Festspielhaus and the option to dine after a performance. "We had a wonderful evening at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful set up for myself and teen, with seperate sleeping areas. We loved the rolls for breakfast. Location was easy to walk, with a grocery store around the corner, close to the train station, river front park, walkable to many beautiful sites. Thank you so very much!"

"A great choice for staying in Hamburg but outside of the historic city center. You can easily access the historic center via the bus stop located directly across the street which runs are fairly reliable intervals and, in turn, grants you walking access to a wide variety of amazing German restaurants, pubs, and shops."
