Originally built in the 1930’s by a Swedish architect and recently renovated with updated bath, granite vanity, Birch Kitchen cabinets, built in microwave, Gas logs in the original stone Fireplace. Master Bedroom Features King Size Cozy bed, 2nd bedroom features double bed and single twin bed, flip switch easy lite gas/stone fireplace, screened porch with rockers overlooking wooded hillside, original wide plank hardwood floors, covered front porch with Rocking chairs, outdoor gas grill with side burner on the deck , Xfinity hi speed Wi Fi and 2 Flat screen TVs , Fully equipped Kitchenette, with Fridge/ice maker, Hammered Copper Sink, ( no full size stove) Cook plate, toaster and built in microwave,hammered copper sink .All Linens and towels are furnished, hair dryer and Keurig coffee maker. Fantastic
We stayed for parents’ weekend at the university with our friends’ daughter. You are very close to downtown, but you get the charm of a rustic cabin retreat. The cabin was built in the 1930s by a Swiss architect and has been beautifully renovated. It was the perfect size for our group. The screened in porch is wonderful. We loved having coffee out there in the morning. The nights were a bit cool, so the field stone gas fireplace was great to have. Beds are quite comfortable. The hosts are delightful. Responsive and super nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just loved the place. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Rustic cabin in the woods
The place is exactly as advertised, Clean , comfortable and rustic. King size bed is comfortable. And shower and towels were very good. It is very rustic. The back porch is not as noce as we hoped but we hung out inside and we went to Ijams for a hike.

Hidden Gem
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was easy to find and get to. I would say it's a rustic/cozy/quaint cabin, which is exactly what we were looking for. We also brought the dogs with us and I was blown away with how dog friendly it was. The dog bowls even had a little treat waiting in them. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect being hidden in the woods yet so close to the city. Also, to anyone wondering, the the steak house was amazing! If you are considering renting this cabin, don't hesitate. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great little cabin for a weekend volleyball tournament at the Knoxville Convention Center. Drive to center was around 10 mins. Great host very prompt with all communication.

Great little cabin!
This was the perfect weekend stay for my husband, myself, our adult daughter and her little dog. When we opened the door, Christmas music was playing, the Christmas tree was lit, we turned on the fire, and had a very cozy evening. It had everything we needed and more for our 3 day stay. We could hear the Dollywood train in the distance (special meaning for us). Nice outdoor spaces if it had been warm enough for sitting outside. I did take a blanket onto the porch and sat in a rocking chair for a bit in the evening. Would we return to this cabin?? ABSOLUTELY if in this area again!!

Coziest cabin around!
We drove up from Orlando with our 2 dogs for a quick getaway for the thanksgiving weekend and our stay in this cabin was wonderful!! Hosts were beyond thoughtful and the cabin was even better than expected! Would recommend it to anyone!!

Rocky Top Getaway
We traveled in from Texas for the Texas A&M v Tenn game. First of all, Tennessee is beautiful this time of year!! This property is just as pictured, quant & the perfect little getaway. I wish we would’ve gotten to spend a little more time there just enjoying the home and beautiful porch/scenery around the home. It’s cozy and clean. The host is very quick to respond if anything is needed. If we ever come back to the area (hopefully!) we will definitely see if this home is available. It’s perfect for couples, friends or families.
