Experience the heart of downtown and the Old City just minutes away from the loft. Explore Downtown Knoxville while staying in this rare, newly constructed loft. Designed for both beauty and comfort, and in a quiet residential district of the city. Features include tall ceilings, brand new furnishings, and street views all steps away from the vibrant Old City, Gay Street, and Market Square. Featuring and outdoor patio with views of the Sunsphere! Ask us for Custom Quotes for your long term stay! Paid parking vehicle is available in a private lot next door. Paid street parking is available out front, or metered parking throughout the Old City is also available. We provide the utmost privacy to our guests, but are available by text or airbnb message if anything is needed. We are located nearby in the event of an emergency. The Old City is the best place to experience Knoxville culture. It is home to incredible local small businesses, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Oli Bea, Old City Java, Barley\`s Pizzeria, Pretentious Glass Company to name a few to try! The place is very walkable to downtown and the Old City. In the presence of any evidence of these things, including odor, a $300 “Wear & Tear” fee will be applied in addition to any specific damage or cleaning that is required. 7) Before check-out, we ask guests to begin dishwasher with used dishes (if applicable) and start washing machine with used towels. 8) Please do not leave any doors propped open for any reason. All windows and doors should be closed and locked when not present at the property. 9) Guests agree to follow the cancellation policy at the time of booking, and agree to any cancellation fee that may apply in the event of a cancellation. Guests agree there are no exceptions to the policy including illness, travel restrictions due to weather, and reasons related to COVID-19. 10) Guests should inspect the property upon checking-in and notify Management of any issues, damage, missing amenities, or unsatisfactory conditions. Should there be an issue, guests will allow a reasonable amount of time during business hours for Management to address or provide a solution for any reported issues, or unsatisfactory conditions. 11) It is the responsibility of Guests to complete all check-out instructions for the property prior to 10:00am Checkout. This includes putting trash in the trash bin, washing any dishes that were used, and starting a load of any used towels in the washing machine. 12) Guest agrees that if they have not checked-out by the designated checkout time they authorize the Host to charge the guest for the Hourly Rental rate of $50/hour to the credit card on file. \*It is the guests responsibility to ensure they have all their belongings before checking out. If guests would like an item shipped to them, there is a minimum $50 shipping and handling fee which is collected prior to shipping. We have a family of 5, and the property states it sleeps 6\. However, this was a very tight squeeze. There are only two beds and an air mattress. The space does not fit an air mattress comfortably without moving furniture around. I think 4 is a more realistic number but crowded beyond that. There is minimal seating for hanging out in the living space. Both nights there were train whistles blowing multiple times, and although noise machines were in both rooms, the sounds were loud and woke us all up throughout the night. Our linens had some stains on them, but otherwise the space was clean. I love the aesthetics of this condo, the exposed brick, the high ceilings and the decor is very well done. Well appointed and decorated, clean, and the building itself was great. The porch off the back was nice, although not large enough where I'd suggest multiple people could sit outside.Parking was easy under the highway, but maybe not ideal as there is a large number of homeless who gather under the highway, especially roughly three blocks towards the campus of UTK. If you want to walk to campus as we did, you should walk towards the back of the street, away from the coffee shop - in order to avoid the homeless encampment.Communication with the owner was great and we felt the loft served our needs very well.
