Relax with the whole family/friends at this peaceful place to stay on Melton Hill Lake. Ideal for Family getaways, Graduations-celebrationss, private relaxing time, base camp for exploring east Tennessee (Windsock Off Road Park is 15 minutes away, Smoky Mountain National Park is 45 minutes away), and work trips. Conveniently located within 5 minutes of Oakridge, 10 minutes to Farragut, and 20 minutes to Downtown Knoxville and the Airport. This Basement Ranch has 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths, the Master Bedroom and other 2 Bedrooms have queen beds. There is also a living room, Dining Room-Office, Kitchen, and a Large Family room that has a queen sleeper and 2 sleeper (twin size) chairs that fold out into beds. The Kitchen is well equipped with cookware, mixer, electric hot water kettle, cookie sheets, pyrex dishes, toaster and of course mugs, cups, plates, bowls and utensils. Additionally, we have a Keurig coffee bar with complementary fixings. We strive to ensure you to have everything you would need to fix any meal. On the exterior, there is a front balcony style porch that is partially covered. The back of the house features Upper and Lower deck/ porches. We added a hot tub, March 2022\. It sits in the covered patio at 101 degrees. The house is right on the water so it is excellent for Kayaking, canoeing, SUP (Stand Up Paddle board), water sports, and fishing. We offer 6 kayaks, 2 SUPs, all the paddles and lifevests and 2 Mountain Bikes for our guests use. Some of the best fishing in Tennessee is right in this lake! You can also enjoy a campfire at the fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We offer 6 kayaks, 2 SUPs and 2 Mountain Bikes for our guests use. We also have 13 - one size fits all lifevests and 2 helmets. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with a pet fee. There is a fenced in are about 50' X 70' with 2 gates for access to the pet. To access it, you will go outside the Sunroom door (opposite of the deck) and walk about 15 feet to the gate. Please keep your pet leashed until inside of the fenced in area. We supply a starter set Coffee, Dish Soap, Laundry Soap and Hand Soap in addition to TP, Paper towels and a complete set of towels and linens for your whole stay. You have access to the whole 1 acre of property, the lake, front house and the Sunroom. There is a back in-law quarters that is not accessible at this time, it is the owner’s area. We do not typically stay in the house while there are guests, however, if we have a contractor or a delivery coming in (like the hot tub added in March 2022), we do stay, but will give notice to the guest as soon as we find out. For the security of our home and the safety of our guests, there are 5 total cameras for surveillance. There is a Ring doorbell and 4 other cameras for security. \*Monitoring the Driveway. \*Monitoring the Lake/Boat from the patio. \*Monitoring the Fenced in dog area. \*Monitoring the Boat. We are not intrusive and want you to enjoy your stay, we've positioned the cameras away from the interior of the home. Amazing hosts and house! What an immaculate house! Hosts thought of everything! So much attention paid to all the creature comforts! Beds and bedding is A+. Kayaks and paddle boards are in terrific condition and easy to take to water and launch. The lake was the hi light and we enjoyed lovely peaceful paddles in gorgeous surroundings. Conveniently close to downtown and Smokey Mountain National Park. Excellent ling weekend getaway. Coming back with rest if the family soon! ##### Susie H. We had a wonderful time. This property was beautiful. There was a fenced in dog run and lots of outdoor space: even a hot tub. We practically lived on the back deck over looking the lake. I can't image a more perfect place for us. We spent most of our time at Windrock and the location was perfect. The local community had every store imaginable. And it was a relatively short ride to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. When we come back to the area, I wouldn't even look for another place. The hosts were wonderful. They communicated just enough. The house had everything including 2 washer and driers. Couldn't recommend it (or them) more. ##### Joe V. They undersell what is available in the area as in golf courses for one example. My wife and I played a lot of golf while we will there - there are a lot of close by golf courses and a world class par 3 course that was a "hoot" to play. Lots of lake stuff to do and you can rent their boat for a day that some other marinas are charging for a 1/2 day! One negative is that in the afternoon rush hour traffic is a pain. One final positive is that if you have any questions the owners are very responsive. ##### Gary L. This short review would not be able to tell of how nice and relaxing the house and stay was. The check in and during our stay Ms. Tracy has been helpful and available if needed. The quiet neighborhood, lake in the back and birds were enjoyable. The house was clean, organized and well stocked. The coffee was very convenient and the zip lock bags were helpful on checkout. The place was clean and immaculate. What a bonus the kayaks were, my son and I took 2 out on the beautiful lake. The 2 bikes the kids used on the long driveway. The beds and couches were comfortable, the video arcade game and board games were added bonuses as well as the living rooms just relaxing with family. It was a very nice stay and we would stay there again. We were in town to visit Temple Baptist church and Crown College for a move and this home was a nice base to go exploring. Little Ponderosa Zoo in Clinton is highly recommended to visit. Thankyou so much again to Tracy ! ##### austin p. So much to do, fishing on the dock and boat, paddle boarding, kayaking, tubing, knee boarding, exploring the lake, hot tub, games galore, morning coffee on the deck.
