Our room had a small balcony which looked out into the Loch. Absolutely lovely. The family room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and kind and the food (particularly breakfast) was delicious.

Cally Palace was very much what we expected. Very old fashioned, but in a charming way. Whilst a little outdated it was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Service was excellent, the staff friendly and the food good. The Forest Wing bedroom was larger than we expected and very comfortable ...

Good location, expensive for what you get but great people.

Friendly staff adequate breakfast lovely and clean. Unfortunately the bar area was like a tap room full of young people playing darts snooker one arm bandit. This bar was open for public use and could be improved by partition and making a lounge area.

Simple storage in bedroom and kitchen, labels for food and larger dishes and casserole dishes would have been helpful. A wonderful place for the price and great staff. Immaculately kept.

Great spacious family rooms. Excellent breakfast and very friends owners and staff. We will be back.

Comfortable, quite and clean with a nice view and good location to easily access Newton Stewart and Galloway Forest Park.
