"It is situated close to the town centre for shopping and bus station for local travel and about 15 minutes walk from the train station I would have no problem staying there again if I am in the area "

"If there's a b & b anywhere where the hosts are more attentlve, i've yet to visit it. A real gem of a place, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a 5 minute walk to the town centre make this a great place to come. We have been twice now and there is sure to be a third when we revisit Dumfries."

So much nature to see just at the lodge, lots of bunnies and birds & some inquisitive cows 😊 we had a wonderful stay & would definitely stay again in the future. "This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."
