"The bed for 1 adult and child should be a bit bigger as the sofa is quite small. Everything else was been excellent. Really good stay in lovely forest"

Highland history comes alive at the Ruthven Barracks ruins and the fascinating Highland Folk Museum with its recreated township. Explore the Cairngorms National Park's walking trails or visit the RSPB Insh Marshes nature reserve for excellent bird watching.
Easy to access the property, and you can order your breakfast at check in. The room was really clean, and so beautifully decorated. The rooms aren't as sound proofed as expected, but still a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff member we spoke to was so helpful. Will be back!

This is a hotel of faded Highland splendour - but we are quite happy in such hotels. The staff are good and try to help and the room was quiet and comfortable. The shame is that the food caters to the lowest common denominator - coach parties. The choice for dinner was remarkably small and the food was average. The breakfast was not hot and the food in heated containers should have been replenished. The bacon was a welded mat of rashers - inedible. The hotel served our purpose but needs...

Good choice for a family holiday..6 adults and 2 kids and it didnt seem too small due to layout of the property.
Excellent bedrooms and bathrooms..very modern and clean.
Kitchen area looks onto lounge and dining area ..gives good separation while keeping all included.
Only fault was a dishwasher door that closes sharply so beware.!!...hopefully now fixed.

Excellent stay. Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable bed and quiet room even though there was a named storm with 70mph winds you wouldn't have had a clue until you looked out the window, also never heard any noise from other guests.
Would definitely stay again.
