"Sarah was an excellent host. She shared her restaurant recommendations and local attractions to visit. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as it was close to the harbour, beach, shopping, and the train and bus locations. Our stay in Weymouth turned out to be our favourite during our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend the Anchorage."

Fantastic one might stay for a wedding. Huge room and bathroom, tea and coffee and Tv in the room. Super clean and friendly owner. Excellent breakfast all freshly cooked along with cereals and fruit. Parking on site and easy walking to the town. Will definitely go back.

Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained.
Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.

The room was warm and cosy; the location was really central and easy to find. David was super friendly and made us a wonderful breakfast including home-made sourdough!

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and contactable at all times, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room.
There was plenty to choose from for breakfast whether hot or cold and all hot food was cooked to order.
I would highly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

Service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside.
We had a drink in the bar before we went out, and we both said we wished we were staying at the hotel for dinner as the service was brilliant. The personal touch made a huge difference.
The room was to the highest standard and certainly did not disappoint.
Only reservation and this is scraping the barrel, however I hope they can be helpful to someone:

Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

It was a fantastic little place and very welcoming on arrival. In fact, my partner thought it to be a suitable place to ask to marry him. There is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea and then breakfast was incredibly generous. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay and will be staying again myself if in the area:

A lovely house with lots of character in lovely grounds. Maggie and Chris were very hospitable and the breakfasts were very nice with plenty of choice.
The only thing I would change would be to forget the lillies. I found the smell overpowering but that’s just my opinion.

Arrived on Friday 3rd November and greeted by excellent weather for the time of year and was greeted by Geoff the owner who was suprised to see who was arriving as we had previously visited and stayed at the bed and breakfast under a different name in August where my wife and I spent our honeymoon.

Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror.
The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available.
Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden.
We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious!
The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area.

What is the nightly rate for a Bed & Breakfast in Kingston?
Prices for B&Bs in Kingston often vary, but you can find a great deal from £46 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Kingston B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed and Breakfast in Kingston?
The best time to book a B&B in Kingston is from June to August, when the summer sun casts a warm glow over this charming lakeside town. During these peak months, you'll find a vibrant atmosphere as families and adventurers flock to enjoy the outdoor activities, from sailing on the waters of Lake Ontario to exploring the beautiful parks and historic sites. The summer temperatures typically hover around 25°C, creating ideal conditions for sightseeing and enjoying the lovely waterfront.
July is particularly popular, as local festivals and events abound, providing a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the community spirit. The Kingston Public Market is in full swing, showcasing local produce and crafts, making it a delightful stop for both visitors and locals alike.
For those looking for a more budget-conscious option, consider visiting in early September. While summer crowds begin to dwindle, the weather remains pleasantly warm, often reaching around 22°C, allowing for enjoyable outdoor exploration without the hustle and bustle of peak season. This quieter time is great for leisurely strolls through the historic downtown or taking a scenic boat tour of the Thousand Islands.
