Plenty of options for a pint or a bite to eat, either in the hotel itself or in the village. Great spot for scenic walks and the smokehouse at the back does some great fayre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. "

"The accommodation was ok needs some maintenance on sealant round toilet unit and sink unit but no biggy. Comfortable and good value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The cooked breakfast had elements that were dried out black pudding/haggis and tomatoes the potato scones had been deep fried and were very greasy. Other items were freshly cooked, pancakes. I would go back but go self catering"
