"We stayed for a week at this lovely cosy (but really large) log cabin. The owner was so accommodating and quick to respond to a query I had prior to staying, and gave us lots of suggestions about the beautiful local area. The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, had everything we needed, was really warm after a day out hiking and was just so spacious for our family of five. "Lovely property for a family , with all home comforts. Great location as most towns are an hour drive away at most . We went in Feb so lots of snow, which the kids loved, however if you went in the summer there’s kayaking and fishing on the estate . Also a massive patio area with beautiful loch views"

"We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it."
