"This is a very large property with access to a public beach. We thought the beach (not really a walkable beach, primarily set up for lounging) was part of the resort however we were informed this is a public beach & there were rules to follow. No saving seats, check in process (don't try coming before 8:00 am for a seat)...not our typical resort style stay, but we managed. The 3 pools fill up very quickly. The room was very clean and large. Small balcony that did offer us a beach/water view. It was also right over the parking lot so a bit loud at times. The staff was 'okay'. I don't feel like anyone went out of the way to make us feel special but all our needs were met. The property is in a great location. Very end of the southern most point of Key West and everything was safe & walkable. You can get on the trolly right by the property too which was nice. Right on Duvall and a straight shot to the other end of the island, about 1.5 miles. Plenty of coffee shops nearby but again, nothing opens before 7:00 & some are 8:00 AM. I would recommend this property for a first time Key West visitor however we would likely try something smaller on our next visit. Be prepared as it is expensive. And ask for the Rooster earplugs (free) at check in. The roosters start squawking by 5:00 AM!"

"What a perfect resort for families with kids. The pool is shallow and seamlessly touches beach - which is just big enough to feel like an adventure! Loved updated fresh rooms and small feel of the resort. We will be back! Tiki bar also a plus. Grab an uber to get into town and only a few min from airport. "

"These staff need a little bit more training. We were directed to the wrong floor for our room and it was a little frustrating because we had all of our luggage going up and down the stairs only to find out we were on the completely wrong floor of the building, but were told that we were on the bottom floor. Also, we were awoken early one morning to a very loud phone conversation outside at 8 AM by one of your staff. I just thought that was a little bit rude and not really appropriate for work. You could hear the conversation from the top floor as they were on the ground having the phone conversation. You could see other guests having the same reaction as we did. The amenities were fantastic and the rooms were quite perfect. We will definitely be staying here again. The grounds were beautiful and I just couldn’t ask for more from a hotel. The pool was fantastic and big!!"

"Beach was very nice to have just a few steps from the room. The seaweed was annoying at times, but the staff made great efforts to keep it cleaned up. Great views of boats and bigger boats. "

"Room was not clean on second day. Not enough launch chairs at the pool. Room had no view what so ever. It does not Match pictures shown on reservation it all. I fell I was totally misguided by the way the room was Offered."
