The room was recently refurbished, an excellent size and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the turn down service a classy touch that has been mostly forgotten in modern hotels. The only gripe is an Intercontinental hotels policy that restricts TV volume to a barely audible '20' that required subtitles to understand what was being said. There appears no way to change that but when the air conditioning unit is on, it's inaudible. A very enjoyable stay and a hotel I'd return to. Here are some detailed notes about the property. The only minor thing is few power receptacles and none are dual voltage, only European plugs and none in the bathroom. The balcony door really blocks the traffic noise well.
