We didn't stay here. Instead, we had an email from the hotel that we would be upgraded to another hotel. That turned out to be winning the lottery. Due to corona, we booked in at the Dolce Attica Riviera. At the arrival, I got a little grumpy as checkouts got prioritized before check-ins, but Elena at the desk ”got the message.” Then we were taken on a golf cart with Christianos, until we finally settled for a bungalow with a private pool. Later I told Elena that the pool was the size of a balcony, and she said she would still lookout for something better. After dinner (that btw was a part of the upgrade), she called and said she had found something we would be happy with, and wow, it was a villa, with a totally different standard on everything. Even the shampoo was upgraded. And of course, the pool, and the beds and the space, absolutely everything was luxury. We stayed there for four days. When I later asked Elena why she did that, she said, ”well, when you have the opportunity to be nice, why not be nice?”. Thank you Elena, And thank you, Wyndman, for putting such beautiful people in charge.
