This was exactly what we needed whilst exchanging and completing on a property .Great location , wonderful walks nearby with the dog . So pleased with facilities booked again .

This was a lovely place to stay with our young daughter. The room we were in was big and cosy, and really quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the restaurant down below (which served us a delicious dinner and breakfast).

Lovely setting. Food and drinks rather expensive.

Had a lovely friendly check in , covid safe and secure , all straight forward , reassured from straight away hand sanitiser , screen etc , booked slots for meals , room comfortable, spotless and perfect little stay with a bit of normality

This was a last minute rebooking as part of my son's 21st birthday celebrations and the staff at the hotel were fantastic and could not have done more to ensure he had great time during our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the restaurant food was good quality and the wine selection varied and reasonably priced. We will definitely return!

We spent a fabulous 4 nights at The Eagle and Child. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was really comfortable with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was amazing and even though we were the only people staying one night there was still a wide selection of fruit, cereal etc to choose from. The cooked breakfast was plentiful, hot and delicious. The pub decor is unique and lovely and we enjoyed an excellent meal there each evening. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Lovely rooms and very comfortable. Never got to play the golf course but looked in great condition and felt well looked after during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous hotel shame about pool rules only allowed half an hour due to covid

Had a wonderful stay for my partner’s birthday! The staff were very friendly and took steps to ensure social distancing was maintained. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day exploring The Lakes.
