Clean room excellent customerservice

Was a fantastic stay with friendly staff who looked after us. Absolutely one of the best stays on an hotel. Food also was excellent. Both me and my wife would recommend the Gateway.

Our stay here was really nice, highly recommend. Breakfast was great, all the staff very friendly. Lovely view of the river, beautiful surroundings!!!

Hard to access carpark on site. Very cramped entrance on a major slope and limited parking space. We were met on arrival after ringing doorbell by woman who wasn't very friendly. She asked us how we managed to get into reception as we apparently shouldn't have been able as door should have been locked or closed. (Dont see how that was our fault) Then she states if we turn up for breakfast there might not be a table available and would let us know when we could get one!? (Turned out not a...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. The attention to detail was fantastic far more than expected. The team at the Hideaway go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We had a wonderful weekend.

Dined in the restaurant and food was fantastic, very impressed that the menu indicated which dishes contained allergens and that the waiting staff offered wheat free bread.pool and spa area was very good. Staff on reception were very attentive and polite, overall was very happy with our stay and would recommend anyone to stay at stonecross manor

Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend.

Everyone from the manager to the restaurant staff were friendly and super helpful. We had 2 babies and a dog and they did everything possible to make our stay fantastic.

Stopped on 14th may 2016. The girl who greeted us and served breakfast the next morning was excellent. The food we had at night was great and the breakfast was spot on. Lovely location. The bar bit is about as perfect looking as youd get a pub. The bathroom in our room was 'retro' but we quite liked talking about it and what colour we had in the 90s lol. The bedrooms are lovely too. Defo come back

We had a great stay and were well looked after by the staff. The room was excellent with a comfortable bed and what can only be described as excellent heating from two wall mounted heaters. Tea/coffee etc and good television. Hot water all the time and I mean HOT. Be careful when you use the hot tap. In some travel lodges you have to wait ages for hot water but not at Killington Lakes. Only downside was a bit of mould in the bathroom. The car park is used by the service station cars so is not...

Great place. Check in was easy once we got through. Not the owners fault it was hotel. Com they were awful. Stay was amazing views were outstanding. Dated but this gave the appeal plenty of space and bedrooms all hadd en suite

Lovely Cottage in excellent location close to All amenities in the town centre Clean comfortable with everything you would require a real Home from Home wold not Hesitate in recommending this property

House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

Great central location so easy to walk everywhere in Kendal - ideal for out party who could then nip to shops, out for meals etc. Lovely property top to bottom. And a nice welcome gift for us too. Thank you to the hosts.
