"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. 10/10 Excellent

"Warm and friendly greeting on arrival, easy check in. Key was in the door and the Granville room was beautiful - spotlessly clean and great facilities. Four poster bed, complimentary coffee machine and tea making facilities. Add on a spacious double sofa and en-suite made this a lovely stay. There can be a bit of road noise given the location, but this does not detract from the overall character of the property. Evening meal was amazing - they catered for our carnivore diet and prepared a mixed grill that was cooked to perfection. Meal for two with a bottle of wine, double gin and a baileys was just over £100 which was worth every penny! Breakfast included was also high quality, with locally sourced meats and again delicious. Accompanied by a decent cup of coffee got the day off to a good start. This is a venue we'll certainly return to again - thank you to Richard and Robert for being amazing hosts :-)"

"It was a very first weekend trip away as a whole family, all 20 of us including children which are majority under 9. Did not anticipate Farm House to be as big as it turned out to be, the kids absolutely loved it! Acres of space for them to run around in, the swimming pool was a huge hit so was the hot tub. Stunning location and although remote youâ€™re only a short drive away from all local amenities. Sherril Farm is a beautiful home away from home and will definitely be missed."

"Cute little cabin in a quite pretty location. Basic, but worth the money if you want a value for money private accommodation. My only comments (not complaint as these things don’t bother me). It was cold when I got there, it would have been nice if the heating could have been put on before arrival. The floor is freezing - bring slippers. The shower had a bit of a mind of its own and was either cold or red hot! It was cleanish but not perfect. And the tea tasted awful (not sure if water or kettle so I avoided this. Overall a nice place to stay, some small tweaks would make it perfect. "

"Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. We were even welcomed with a short, signed note on quality card wishing us personally, a warm and relaxing stay, which set the tone for a wonderful stay. The bathroom had a white, classically styled bathroom suite, with high quality furnishings and a powerful rainfall mains shower. The shower screen could have been a little longer as despite trying to be careful, the beautiful grey LVT floor got a soaking! Warm towels and organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our stay was extremely comfortable and despite being in a room facing the road, we weren't really bothered as the bed was comfy. I did overheat a few times in the night, despite turning the GCH radiator down earlier in the evening, but that's more a reflection on me rather than the feather down quilt. In summary, classy country feel pulled off immaculately by our warm hosts We would not hesitate to stay again and perhaps this time stay for a meal which looks sumptuous. Thank you to all."

"Great holiday here with everything you can think of. We had a lovely log fire which was lit by Ian, the owner, who also delivered lots of logs for us! Scruffy, his dog, is absolutely delightful and very friendly. We'd love to take him home with us! Would highly recommend anyone, any age, to stay here, and have suggested Sherrill Farm to many friends"

It had everything you needed for a lovely stay.Ian & Katie were amazing hosts and were always on hand if you needed anything.Swimming pool, jacuzzi and games room were even better than expected."
