So it’s amazing to be able to walk there from the Shinkansen with our bags and go right to the hotel! The public baths and restaurant are also amazing. Great choice. Only thing is the rooms themselves are TINY! It turned out this is a surprisingly nice hotel. The room isn't the biggest, but it is rather comfortable. I love the firmness of the bed and pillows! The onsen on the 2/F is also much larger than I expected. They allowed us to check in an hour early so we could drop our bags, for a fee. Check in was pretty easy. The room view was amazing, but it is a whole hotel heating system, so the room was extremely hot. We were able to open up the window and the train noise did not bother us. The bed was slightly hard, but I am used to a very soft bed, so by Japan standards I think the bed was fine (the night before at another hotel, the bed was a board, so this was fine).
