Bigger than what we had thought it would be, so that was a plus. Location was perfect with everything just down the road. The house was fabulous and worked really well for us all as plenty of space, clean and in a great location, close to the waterfront and where our daughter and family were staying. "We had a fantastic weekend. Communication beforehand was very good and everthing was as described. The kids loved the beach and the tennis courts. No Tv or internet required! Unfortunately, the sun disappears after the hill early afternoon at this time of the year, so we didn't sit outside a lot. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay."

"We loved staying at Pohutukawa cottage. The garden was lovely for an Easter egg hunt, and the kids loved being able to run around. Also loved the stack of firewood as the weather was fairly cold the first couple of evenings. Highly recommended for families - can walk to the ocean and the cycle trails go past the front door (plus you can rent bikes from round the corner if the ones if the shed arae not to your style).
