We enjoyed our stay at the condo immensely. The concierge was very helpful and a nice surprise. The beach was quiet and we even saw whales just standing on the beach! We enjoyed the community bbq and ate all our meals on the lanai. There are several beautiful beaches within a couple minutes drive ...

Great location We got an upgrade and our room was spectacular
I love the open air lobby, as it makes you feel always immersed in "Hawaii" no matter where you are in the hotel. The best on-site excursion was the Tour of the Stars; it was breathtaking and highly recommended, even if you're not a big stargazer. Only gripe was check-in, as there was only me and ...
I come here often and always feel welcomed. Love the Whaler.
Very friendly and welcoming staff! Excellent views from the lanai.
Three miles of sandy shoreline make up West Maui’s Kaanapali Beach. Hotels, condos and restaurants line the beach, all connected by a paved walkway. Settle in for a day at the beach knowing you have public restrooms and showers to hand and lifeguards who patrol the beach. The open-air Whalers Village shopping complex also borders the beach should you need a break from relaxing in the sun.
At one end of the beach, Black Rock is a large lava rock formation very popular with divers and snorkellers. Make your way in the evening to see the diving ceremony take place here in which a diver lights torches along the cliff’s edge before diving off into the ocean.
Less than a ten-minute drive north of Lahaina, Kaanapali was Maui Island’s original resort destination. Stay in Kaanapali for a number of excellent golf courses nestled into the tropical landscape and offering golfers fantastic ocean views from the greens. A shuttle provides transport around the area and also links up West Maui Airport, just three miles out of the centre of Kaanapali.
Kaanapali’s hotels range from three-star hotels to deluxe five-star resorts. All hotels are just steps from the beach and there are plenty of other things to do in the hotels and resorts, including outdoor pools and nightly luau parties. Some hotels also have casual restaurants and traditional tiki bars.
Or you can just enjoy the sun on your furnished lanais or balconies. There are plenty of modern conveniences in each room, such as free WiFi and satellite TV. Premium bedding and air conditioning help to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.
It’s less than an hour’s drive to get to the start of the Waihee Ridge Trail, at the base of the West Maui Mountains. This five-mile route takes you up to Lanilili Peak for breathtaking views of Maui Island’s rugged coastline and the Waihee Valley.
For more adventure, hike to the summit of Haleakala, a dormant volcano. There are a few hikes of various difficulty around the national park, so even inexperienced hikers can explore the volcanic terrain.
