"The property was warm and VERY cosy. The real christmas tree was a fabulous addition. Spacious and well equipped throughout. Everything you could possibly want in holiday accomodation. The hosts were available and there to help should any issue arrise. Attention to detail. The log burner made it very snug. This is the second time we have stayed there and definately going to be going back. Its a fabulous stay. Would reccomend."

"Lovely property. The games room was great esp for a group. Really nice big garden and outhouse which was good for the kids. Lovely bedrooms and comfy beds all with ensuite. Just the bottom bed was a bit lumpy. Owner very nice to deal with and very clean. Lovely little high street and play park nearby within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit to Barnard Castle, Stepping Stones Park and a day trip to Durham."

"Beautifully proportioned and nicely decorated cottage. Garden enclosed. Kitchen well equipped. We would definitely come again. Lovely walks in the area. Alston lovely town. The outside bins were full when we arrived and so nowhere to put our rubbish. But owner said the cleaner would deal with it. Comfy beds and sofas and nice log burner. Thank you. We had a lovely time."
