This property was beautiful. It is remote, but the local bus pulls up right to the front of the property so getting around wasn't an issue for the places we wanted to visit. Beware though, as the beach is not open from November to mid-March.

The hotel was fabulous, especially for the reasonable price. I would have been satisfied having paid several times more than I did. Facilities and amenities are top notch. The staff is exceptional. Every single member of staff, at the restaurants, the stores, the concierge, pool and beach staff, reception staff, everyone was professional, warm, friendly, helpful.

Loveeeeeeeeeeeee this hotel & resort! From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve landed into paradise. Every detail, every accent, the amazing staff, the epic view of Nashiro Beach, my goodness! We literally fell in love and because of this, we cancelled several of our outings simply to enjoy the resort. The private beach and pools are even more beautiful than the pictures and the breakfast buffet is TOP TIER! All the rooms face the ocean so no one is without the breathtaking view and each room comes with a balcony to enjoy the view and sound of the ocean! My husband and I are beating ourselves up for not extending our time here. The highlight for our trip to Okinawa is absolutely this hotel! For Americans, the beds are twin size but they are super comfortable! 100/10! Logistics Parking is available on the property for low fee of 1500 yen/daily, super convenient Free airport shuttle is available but we didn’t use it Attractions This resort is located in the south of the island so the famous aquarium is about 1hr45-2hrs from here Okinawa World is 20-25 mins from the resort (caves) Shopping Awesome ASHIBINAA Outlet Mall is about 15 mins from the resort **lunch buffet is 5000yen per person but worth every cent! The food was delicious and the assortment was vast!

Service was excellent. I honestly don’t understand who was unhappy enough to complain. Throughout our stay, we felt welcome and well taken care of. I also loved the system where the hotel gives you a ¥1,500 discount if you choose not to have your room cleaned. This perfectly offset the daily parking fee of ¥1,500.

The room was clean and the view of the beach was amazing. Staff was very nice. The hotel overall was great and we will be coming back. My only complaint was that we were not allowed to stay in the VIP lounge after our checkout. I know that's due to their rules, but as my parents are elderly (both are 80+), I was hoping they would make an exception for them. We had a later flight so we were only able to rest in the lobby...would have been nice to see the hotel make an exception for elderly, disabled customers.

This resort is isolated, so I would recommend purchasing their breakfast package if you like to eat early. I regret not getting an international license and renting a car, however it does have a bus limousine to/from the airport, but it only runs until the afternoon. A public bus also stops at this resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was low season (mid March), the pools were open but the outdoor ones were cold (didn't stop us from swimming!). The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful: from the moment we arrived (porters, reception), during our stay (pool & ground staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping, market staff) and our departure (concierge, porters). They all made our vacation delightful and very pleasant! Their breakfast buffet is spectacular! Western and Asian offerings, so something for everyone. The dishes themselves don't rotate, but with the variety, it was easy to eat something "new" everyday. Beach is very well kept. Towel service near each pool. Lifeguards on duty at the pools and beach. They provide many amenities in your room: pajamas, flip flops, beach bag (which we used for laundry), bathroom toiletries, small fridge, bottled water. Washer/dryers are available in each wing but take coins only. Change machine in laundry room, very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. The Ryukyu Hotel and Resort, Nashiro Beach exceeded our expectations!
