Lovely location, staff very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and well stocked with coffee etc. View from our room was stunning and the temperature in the room was perfect, the ability to open the window at night was good. The menu was not the largest and didn't change through the week but the food we did have was excellent.

Beautiful hotel in an off the beaten track. Very good food. It seemed to be the waitress's first day but she did really well under the guidance of the owner, who was certainly putting his heart into this small business. Really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Marmalade and wished we had more time to stay even longer. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had on our 3-week trip, the views are incredible, beds comfortable, and facilities / grounds very clean and beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend!

This was a perfect find. Although the room we had was a little small it was immaculately clean and very warm. Bed was big and very comfy. Added value were the spa and sauna. The Restaurant was very pleasant and the food was delicious. We arrived in darkness and were welcomed into a cosy bar with an open fire and comfy lounge area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and had even offered to prepare us a meal as we wouldn’t be arriving before the kitchen closed at 9pm. The room was beautiful and I loved the style, a lovely nip of whiskey awaited us and some shortbread. The room was immaculate with cosy dressing gowns. Great hotel on the water with an excellent restaurant. It was hard to find a hotel on the Isle of Skye, but we were extremely fortunate to find a room here on short notice.

Price was reasonable for Skye. Warm, cozy, loved every minute!

Booking in was very easy. There was an envelope left inside the door with my name and room number on. The room was lovely - not huge but big enough for 2 with a lovely bathroom, nice thick towels and hand soap, body wash and shampoo and conditioner in the shower cubicle. The heated towel rail was a nice touch making the bathroom nice and cosy so you weren’t coming out of the shower to a cold room ( nothing worse) There were tea and coffee facilities too with a nice biscuit on the side! Very well presented property, stunning surroundings. Communication from the owner was very poor, no response to any messages prior to my stay and I had to ring to find out which cabin I was stopping in and how to collect my keys. This was by far the most expensive accommodation I’ve booked while working in and around the whole of Scotland for the last 3 year and I would have expected the check in to be flawless for the price paid.

Room was perfect, 2nd stay in this room. Staff lovely & helpful. Looking forward to staying again.
