"Great host, Plockton Inn for dininig and live music"

"We stayed at the Skye Inn for one night. The property is clean and kept very well and was also quiet. Our room had fresh linens and was also clean. They serve dinner as well as breakfast. We regretfully didn’t make either but both menus sounded delicious. The Skye Inn is within walking distance to shopping and several restaurants. Staff was friendly and addressed any concerns we had. "

"Wonderful place to stay, a true home away from home. Accommodations were very comfortable with all the amenities you need. The staff were all wonderful. The breakfast was a hot, sit down meal. order from a menu not a buffet. "

"This place is magical. We came across it by just our luck and boy were we happy. The hosts that welcomed us were so sweet and so welcoming and the food was outstanding! My husband had the Cullen skink chowder and the seafood linguini and it was incredible! Highly recommend this quaint spot. Take care on the road! It’s not for the faint of heart but worth it! "

"We made Portree our home base for 3 nights on Skye. The Marmalade was the perfect spot! Spacious room, beautiful views and friendly staff. They have a restaurant on site and the rooms are stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits and local soap products. "
