"Our family room was perfect for us - my daughter loved the bunk beds and having the outdoor area was lovely and so handy for our dog. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly and we could even charge our electric car. The location was perfect too. There was nothing I would change about our stay! "

Teas coffees provided Wet room View of the lake/pond from cabin and of course the sheep So warm and conformable Tried a couple of the activities .shooting and archery..both jj and jack were amazing..thank you both Had food and a couple of drinks on first night in their bar and restaurant..enjoyable. Made our own breakfast following day in the cabin.. Definitely stay again.such a pleasurable relaxing few days away "

"Absolutely terrible place. Booked using Hotels.com which stated staff were there until 11pm to book you in - I have been online again and checked that this is still the advertised checking in time and it is. A telephone number is given to book in with that no one answers and the phone goes to discontinued and the line goes dead. Drove in from Cambridgeshire and arrived at 10:55pm to a deserted, bleak building. Knocked in the front, back and side doors (greasy/ dirty glass), rang the reception countless times, absolutely nothing. Doors greasy, building black and depressing. I frightened the rats around the back area rummaging through the litter in the area when I came back into the area doing a circuit of the building looking for a door with a light that might be suggestive of a reception area. A resident came down for a cigarette and let me in to a greasy smelling stairwell with a dark room to the side that opens into the cafe area, so no visible reception there. There was no way to get into the paid for room so I was left having to book last minute accommodation at another nearby motel. Not what you want after a long journey but honestly relieved after seeing the state of the place. Avoid."

"The family room was set up in a way where the air conditioning unit was blowing directly onto one of the beds, this made it inpossible to sleep without having a freezing cold breeze. When telling the hotel staff the next morning, the boomer woman at reception didn't seem to care, offered no apology and said "there's nothing we can do about that"."

"No running hot water. Called in the evening and again in the morning with no answer. Cold shower it was. Room was too much money for the condition. Location however is convenient."
