"Stayed at Haven Hall for a long weekend, the hotel and grounds are exceptional, with views overlooking the sea. Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished and the extra large king sized bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was extensive, served in a lovely dining room looking onto the gardens. The owners and staff are welcoming and friendly - overall great hotel in a relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend."
"We only stayed one night, which was all we would have managed on that particular bed. The hotel is in need of a makeover and believe it is under new management. It is clean and tidy though and the staff were great. The breakfast was very nice, cooked to order. "
"Sea view room - comfortable bed, clean and pleasant. A small fridge would have completed it.
Great location to walk into Cowes.
Excellent breakfast and very friendly hosts made for a very enjoyable stay."

"Fantastic experience all round - we checked in easily with a warm welcome from the staff. Our room was lovely, very clean, comfy bed and great decor. Little extras were provided too - the portable toothbrush & paste, shower cap and shaving kit, which was a lovely addition, especially if you've forgotten one of these. There was a coffee machine with a variety of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. USB socket as well as normal plug socket. Internet access was easy too. A useful folder in the room full of helpful information. The bar and restaurant were really nice too. Lovely decor and a good selection of food and drinks."
MANOR ON COAST WITH SEA VIEWS, TENNIS COURT, BIG GAMES ROOM + BAR, GARDENS
10/10 Excellent
"St Lawrence Manor is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet location with access to both the countryside and the beach. Several bedrooms have views of the sea. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The owner was friendly over email and very helpful. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. I recommend this house for large parties. We had a great holiday experience."
"Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked tea/coffee tray including water, sweets & biscuits. Large fan for hot weather was very welcome. Communal hallway leading to rooms had wellies available for guests to borrow & a bookcase with lots of local information.
We had lunch, evening meal and breakfast during our stay. Excellent menu & everything we had was of good quality and enjoyable, as were the drinks. Really enjoyed the jug of Pimms on the lovely outside terrace/garden area. "
"Very friendly comfortable place to stay in the beautiful village of Brighstone. The rooms were cosy, quiet and clean with excellent shower.Great pub and good seating inside and outside. The breakfast was amazing.Well worth staying here whether an overnight stop or for longer as a base."
"The cottage is in a great location to access all parts of the island. Decor and furnishing are on the basic side, but this is more than reflected in the price. The garden has lovely views - a picnic table is provided but I suggest taking your own camping chairs for more comfy, longer term seating. The cottage is on a B road with some traffic at times but the noise was not intrusive, and was non-existent overnight. The pub, just 200 steps down the road, is a gem and serves excellent food - I recommend booking as it is very popular. Shorwell is picturesque and away from crowded holiday spots which is a bonus. Eating in garden at The George Hotel in Yarmouth was a high spot - great food and great views of departing ferries and across to Lymington. I would stay in Ladylands again and I am very picky."
