Best place to stay, loved it. Hated the beach vendors and beggers hitting on you every 15 minutes while on the premise, I didn't pay for that and owners should stop it from happening, terrible management. Great food and service.

Spectacular! The hotel is super clean, beautifully designed with a relaxed boho vibe, and has a gorgeous beachfront location. The food was excellent as well. The beach service was a little slow at times, but luckily we had Maximiliano, who made all the difference. His service was exceptional, both on the beach and in the restaurant. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Overall, a beautiful property with a wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food, and exceptional service from Maximiliano. We would definitely return!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful! When we arrived we were give a tour of the property. The restaurant hostess introduced herself and remembered our names throughout out stay. At checkout the staff member went out of her way to secure us a taxi on wet and busy morning. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Many options for the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice surprise. Our room was cleaned daily and early in the morning as the staff knew we were out on the beach or an excursion. We ate at Mandarino and Luuma restaurants. The food was great at both. We were wowed by the unique dishes, especially the desserts at Luuma. The beach beds are great and many have shade. This was easily the most beautiful spot on the beach. We had a great stay at this wonderful hotel!

Lovely small hotel. Everyone was helpful, friendly, professional and went above and beyond. Yoga in the morning, followed by the best breakfast, then some lounging in the private beach. Location convenient for exploring town without needing a taxi. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect getaway. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything. The hotel was luxurious without being pretentious and all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Be sure to use the hotels airport transfer service- it makes getting to and from Cancun stress free and is 100% worth the extra cost. We are a gay couple with 2 teenage daughters and couldn't have felt more comfortable.

It is a very relaxing and leave your cares at home place. If you are looking for a place that you just enjoy the beach, the sun, the ocean, this is the place. The food was great! The staff was wonderful and always willing to help.

Heavenly!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They have thought of every detail, from rooms that feel like sanctuaries to the large shower and outside sitting area. Everything is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious with many healthy options. The hotel and the island far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Casa Las Tortugas and Holbox Island.

La Casa de las Tortugas is a beautiful, magical place. Its coastal architecture accentuated by wood, washed walls, sand & plants is fabulous. The bedrooms follow this same style conveying peace & relaxation. Their pool, center of the rooms, is crystal clear & relaxing ,situated right in front of the of their spa. This space offers multiple activities- yoga, sound meditations, solstice rituals. All lead by beautiful Coral who is kind, loving & positive. The restaurants are highly defined by all the staff wanting to provide the best service. They go above & beyond just like the waiter from the sushi restaurant willing to go up & down from one restaurant to another to accommodate your palate. The beach area is FANTASTIC ! It’s decorated with a beautiful bohemian vibe & you have your choice of beach beds, hammocks or cushioned sofas. The beach is always clean & the jaded water is mesmerizing ( plus the ladies who sell the fresh mangoes outside add another local flavor! ) The location of the hotel is perfect. You are just a few blocks away from everything! Their restaurant Luma is a must! Their boards & appetizers such as shrimp chicharrón are scrumptious & don’t pass on the chocolate tart with the chile froth cream! It’s to die for! All crowned by the magnificent service of their hostess & Mica! I hope I can return soon & without a doubt, La Casa de las Tortugas will be my number one choice ! ( plus they are advocates to preserve the islands vibe)

Amazing stay I want to keep it a secret.

Incredible stay, our best hotel experience. The setting is incredible and we had a truely special stay. The staff were so friendly and kind we felt very looked after. A real gem on the island. The only minor comments we had are that the internet was poor in our room but it fit the ethos of the hotel to switch off from the world and we could have done with a fridge for cold refreshing water or full height mirror.

The staff and this beautiful property was the perfect setting for our anniversary trip Bit a single thing could have made it better We are booking again in January it was a total relaxing, amazing trip. The food at the restaurant was really good it was close to other food options. Easy to walk to everything. The entire island was welcoming. Taking to planes, a 2 hr private car service, a ferry and a jeep taxi to the hotel was easy and very worth it!

This place is absolutely breathtaking! They genuinely foster an atmosphere of relaxation and camaraderie. At first, it took me a little while to adapt to the absence of a television in the room and the relatively simple amenities, but I soon discovered that the exceptional service and delectable food more than made up for it. Flor and Daniel, the front desk clerks, were wonderfully attentive and exuded warmth and friendliness throughout my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this hidden gem in Holbox; it’s an experience you won't want to miss!

Wife and I were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary and Casa Las Tortugas lived up to it's sterling reputation that we have been reading. We stayed in the Tucan room which is on the ground floor with walking access to beach. The staff is great and very friendly. We went in Sept 2025 which is the low season with limited staff but we still received great service. The is food is fresh and excellent. Every meal was an experience. We loved the afternoon activities...Salsa Lesson, writing class and painting classes. We did booked a spa session which was very freshing. They dont have the best spa facilities though.

We stayed in a beautiful master suite, not ocean front but the size of the room and deck made up for that. The included breakfast was very good and the grounds were clean and well maintained. The beach is white sand and soft, with plenty of shelling if desired. The beach loungers are comfortable with plenty of shade available. The racoons were a bit off putting, they came on our deck and sat in our chairs. They're not too scared of you, so I kept the door closed and scared them off. But they're cute too, although they ate the urchins we had collected and left out to dry. The beach in this area is the best on the island, without the piers that were spaced on the beach to the south. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to return. The water is warm, calm, and shallow. It was great swimming and paddleboarding. We also enjoyed fishing and the hotel cooked our grouper and snapper perfectly!
