"Great location, the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the gym wasn't great, loads of stuff not working / missing from what was shown in the photos. And my mother's air con didn't work for 2 days, but she was then moved to a very nice room as soon as possible. We'd stay there again :) "

"Perfect position for the area no cabs needed, right on the sea front a little cove for snorkelling about 5 mins walk. Rooms were clean, clean towels daily, breakfast great variety, dinner buffet only a few times as ate out in local restaurants, so would have liked option of lunch or dinner which would have been worth more to us, will defo be back. "Really good, basic accommodation. Great view over the pool area. Downside...listed " Lift " & " Accessible " on their details, but failed to mention the lift only went from Reception up & down to the dining area. They'd put us on the 3rd floor which I couldn't manage. I hadn't thought to mention I'm a wheelchair user as I assumed my needs were covered. Upside...sorted out very quickly with no fuss - they changed our room to the Ground Floor. Not sure what would've happened if they'd been fully booked, but I was very impressed with how they handled it & with the wonderful staff in general. I would not hesitate to use this lovely hotel again."

"We are genuinely puzzled by some very harsh negative reviews. Yes, the hotel could do with some TLC but it needs to be compared to its Canarian competitors in the same price range. And there we find it good value. We again found it clean enough, bedding and towels changed regularly and with plenty to eat, Large rooms with private balconies nearly all with Sea/Pool views. We had a few maintenance issues, all of which were resolved quickly with the longest taking 48 hours. Food included roast joints, many species of fish, stroganoff, lots of salads, fruit etc. Being mid Atlantic, we would particularly encourage people to try all the varieties of fish even if you have never heard of them. Cost a fortune in UK. Admittedly they are not so good at chips. The staff are friendly and helpful, almost family. Sometimes though they are very busy, there can be 800 guests all wanting breakfast at the same time. They cater to guests from all over Europe so not all the staff are English fluent. Pick quieter times and double check they do understand your English. We tend to use a lot of cliches, idioms and sometimes say “can you” when we mean “will you”. Noise pretty much goes by 11.30pm although the Ents team will get louder as the older winter crowd are replaced by the summer families. Yes, the Spa needs some work but closing it would be a big impact on the guests for that month. Unlike mainland hotels, this hotel is nearly full all year round. And a shout out to Ellis"

"Great stay and even more fanatstic staff. Hotel has very good facilities, two outdoor pools and spacious rooms. We opted for half-board and I have to stay breakfast and dinner were really worth it. Food felt slightly repetitive after two weeks of stay though. Hotel is very close to a small supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We had a hire car and location was great to explore every corner of the island. Staff deserve special credit for being very kind, friendly and helpful. Keep the prices reasonable and we will definitely return to Los Zocos."
