Bedford Swan Hotel & Thermal Spa
8/10 Good
"Front desk staff were lovely. The hotel itself is very nice, room was a bit run down - missing faucet handle bit, needing a little tlc overall. Sheets seemed clean but I found hair that wasn’t mine around the room. My biggest complaint though isn’t with the hotel itself but instead the restaurant within the hotel. No matter when I called or how many times, they never answered. Not once during my entire stay. Reception tried to connect me - no luck. When I went to the restaurant they told me they couldn’t do lattes or coffee to go although earlier people were taking hot drinks to go. They were out of gluten free toast although it’s on their menu as something available daily. Room service was a big let down. Other people seemed to have the same issue."

Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel
6/10 Okay
"This is like faulty towers where the maintenance man is the bar man etc etc found it v odd to have nowhere to hang clothes not even hooks on back of doors yet you get a luggage holder in a room that barely has room for a chair. Quite amusing really. Aircon doesn’t work and windows rattle in the wind when left open. Nice bed and shower but …"

ibis Northampton Centre
2/10 Terrible
"Ive stayed in many hotels around the world and this is amongst the most horrific if not the most horrific hotel Ive ever stayed in.
The room I stayed in was beyond basic, grubby, poorly maintained with possibly the worst outlook Ive had (industrial pipes).
The walls are paper thin and you can hear quiet conversations in the hotel through the doors. The insulation in non-existent.
Its also a hotel used by lots of people going drinking or clubbing late and people come in at all hours (fair enough) but because of the terrible insulation, its impossible not to get woken.
The parking is hard to find and is also charged at full city centre rate and the hotel has no concessions."

Rushton Hall Hotel & SPA
10/10 Excellent

Sedgebrook Hall
8/10 Good
"Lovely room and stunning grounds. "

The Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough, Leicestershire
6/10 Okay
"Only stayed for an overnight. There was loud music from the bar next door until about 11:30 pm but after that finished it was really quiet. Rooms are bit dated. Loose shower / limescale build up on shower door. Bed was comfortable and had a good pillow. "

The Talbot Hotel, Oundle, Northamptonshire
10/10 Excellent
"The Talbot Hotel is a very quaint hotel. It’s location in Oundle is ideal and central. The courtyard is a great place to soak up the sun with a cold beverage. Dorotha and Aaron were a pleasure to deal with, as were all staff. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough
6/10 Okay
"Lovely place, limited hot breakfast options.
Need better supervision at pool/ hot tub children running wild splashing and playing about in the hot tub up until 9pm not ideal."
