Lovely location with easy parking and beautiful road.
Only had one night at property but had a very goodnights sleep. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff . I would recommend this hotel
Lovely tidy rooms, very comfortable however not sound proof in anyway, at 11pm I could hear the guy next door talking on skype to his wife. Then in the middle of the night there was some kind of hammering coming from upstairs
Great location, convenient to shops downtown and public transportation. Convenient of having a kitchen with washer. Only drawback was the apartment was at the front with the main road, lots of traffic noise.
SELF CONTAINED ROOM WITH FULL SHARED KITCHEN ALL VERY CLEAN AND COMFY WOULD STAY AGAIN
“Very clean, lovely little touches like chocolates on pillows, tea coffee and sugar all supplied. The host was really friendly and helpful. 10 mins walk in to the centre so ideal. ”
Not happy as the room has got a leak from the overhead ceilingthay stinks on my 2nd night. I informed theanagement and sent a photos of it but didn’t even bother to apologise or thanked.
The historic and picturesque county of Bedfordshire lures in a hefty number of holidaymakers each year. Set just a short distance north of London, the county is ideally located for an affordable getaway. The county town of Bedford is among the most popular towns, boasting an impressive range of attractions. Equally favoured by tourists of all ages and tastes is the glorious Bedford Park, located close to the town centre. With plenty of outstanding hotels in the area, the park is a must for any itinerary.
Bedford Park was originally constructed in the middle of the 19th Century, in the peak of the Victorian era. This quintessentially English style still runs through the park today, with the original bandstand standing tall as ever, and no shortage of magnificent, mature trees.
In terms of facilities, the park doesn't leave visitors hanging. There are two recently built kids' playgrounds and a café for refreshments. With everything in the park maintained to a high standard, Bedford Park has been the proud bearer of a Green Flag Award since 2007.
The expanse of open space at Bedford Park is home to some of the town's best sporting facilities. From the original Victorian cricket pavilion to Robinson Pool, there's a variety of first-rate facilities. Other sports available at the park include football, tennis, basketball and rounders. There's even a meticulously manicured bowling green.
As the county town, it's hardly surprising that Bedford is home to many of the best guesthouses, B&Bs and hotels in Bedfordshire. From humble home-stays to elegant luxury hotels, there's something in town to suit every budget.
The Holiday Inn Express Bedford provides a conveniently located and comfortable stay with an affordable price tag. There are good conference facilities and a free breakfast.
Those looking for something special and upmarket can check out the Hallmark Hotel Flitwick Manor. The impressive 4-star hotel is set within a beautiful country house in the peaceful village of Flitwick, just outside Bedford. The bar's log fire is ideal for cosy winter evenings spent in, while the ample grounds are perfect for weddings.
