The pool area was another highlight, offering a spectacular view that made every swim feel like a dip in paradise. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with warm smiles and helpful tips. Their friendliness was exemplified when one staff member kindly offered us a ride in his personal car to the city, ensuring we didn’t miss our boat tour—a gesture we deeply appreciated. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was incredibly convenient, making trips to the city effortless and adding to the overall comfort of our stay. "The Hotel Montemare was a lovely property on the hills above downtown Positano. The staff could not have been more lovely. They greeted us every morning and evening when we entered and left the property. We especially enjoyed (and will miss) the expansive continental breakfast offerings and coffees and attentive service every morning on the beautiful veranda with gorgeous sea views. Note that the foam beds were very firm which I did not find ideal for restful sleep."
