The location is perfect — just a short walk to the famous beach. My room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning sea view. The staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries and local products. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a scenic stay on the coast. There was plenty of room for 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the oversized balcony was amazing (there was a shower out there, chaise lounge chairs and two dining tables) with a beautiful view of Positano. The walk down to the beach is really not bad at all from this property! The food was great for breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a beautiful pool as well that was great when the town flooded with people and the temps got high. It was, as all places in Positano, required to walk steps to get to and from town and events. The history of the hotel was really interesting and it was apparent in the designs and decor. All of this said, the best part of Miramare was the people. There Is no lift so pack light but there is a sweet porter that will carry luggage to/from room.
