The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

The hotel is set close to the waterfront and it was the better area to stay. At night it was safe to walk around. Rooms were clean but noted bathrooms were in need of better lighting and ventilation.

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

We had a very nice stay here. The hotel was very well maintained and the staff was very nice. It is a small hotel ran by a very nice family. We were served breakfast each morning by Maria and staff. They would bring your order on a tray and hand it to you. We enjoyed eating and relaxing on the balcony. The hotel is right on the main street into Positano. When you are on your balcony it is very noisy until later in the evening. However, there were room darkening shutters that go down at night on the sliding doors that were wonderful. It was very quiet. Our only minor complaint would be that there was no shade or curtain on the window in the second bedroom. This made for a VERY bright room first thing in the morning. We would stay here again for sure.
