"The accommodations were excellent. Deborah was knowledgeable, welcoming, and offered great recommendations. The location is superb and excellent for day trips to other locations by train or car. Enjoyed our stay very much"
"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though:
- the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day.
- the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...
"I stayed at hotel Diana during my trip to Lucca for the summer music festival. The experience I had was wonderful and the staff were supper nice, helpful and accommodating. "

Immersed in the green of the hills of Lucca, just 5 minutes from the city walls
10/10 Excellent
"Truly had such a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. We are a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 5) and this worked perfectly for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and Carmine the host was very attentive and helpful at all times. The villa is in great proximity to the main walled city of Lucca and there is plenty of space to park if you have hired cars (we had 2 cars). We all had a great time using the pool and the sunbeds and you get sun right through the day up until the evening. Would definitely recommend Carmine and this gorgeous villa. "
"Great historical hotel with spacious rooms and nice furnishings/design. The concierge was lovely and the breakfast was spectacular. I got a great deal on a large room and would definitely stay there again when I’m in Lucca. I also liked the outdoor patio where you can people walk and just relax. Close to the city center and about a 17 minute walk from the train station. Shoutout to Leonardo at the front desk who was a gem. "
