"Fantastic hotel experience. Many wonderful touches and gestures that made a memorable traditional feeling stay. Rooms and bathrooms exceptional. Service a little out of touch with international high end hotel norms and protocols, but overall highly recommended. "
"It is definitely a great place to stay. The subway station is right downstairs. Amazing department store right next door. Fantastic restaurants on site. And I could eat breakfast here everyday for the rest of my life!!!"
"It was a fun trip with my family. It was very close to the subway station and the sauna facility was the best. The breakfast was great too, so I recommend it to others."

"I am planning a trip back, and I will be staying here. This hotel was beautiful and had excellent amenities. My stay was a 10/10, and I'm so excited to return."
"My room at this Sotetsu inn is slightly bigger than the one I stayed at in the Ueno area. Room is quiet and comfortable, though you should mind the height difference when you step out of the bathroom. Nonetheless, this hotel provides stepping stools if it bothers any guest. A short walk to the JR Kanda station. "
"Great stay for families, couples, etc. Location in upscale neighborhood. Walkable to train, restaurants, convenient stores. Room is a bit small but standard for Japanese culture. Loved the biday. No amenities like breakfast or spa but would highly recommend."
"Our family of 5 stayed 5 nights and we loved it. The stay was a lovely departure from the usual luxury hotels. Tatami mats everywhere and the staff truly try to embody Omotenashi (Japanese hospitality). All the staff made a real effort to speak with us. The lounges on each floor are equipped with lots of treats. You can tell the staff truly cares about your stay, with Miyo, in particular, spending time with our family to explain things to us, as this was our first visit to Japan. It is a quirky place, so embrace it for that. They even daily hang wind chimes in the trees that adorn the entrance.
This hotel is part of Honshino Resorts - a 100+ year old Japanese company, still run by the same family.
We'd definitely stay again!"
