"Great place to stay, lovely house, great location. Great configuration of rooms making it easy for 3 generations. Lovely pool and hot tub. Very private. Hosts very helpful. Few things to consider - air con only in lounge. One tea-towel for 5 people for 2 weeks is poor. Only one shelf in the oven (very disappointing) and had to go shopping when we arrived for baking trays for cooking. Iron - but no ironing board. "

A lovely hotel. We stayed 4 nights in Jul/Aug 2020. The staff were superb (especially helpful with restaurant reservations) the hotel was very clean and the location could not be better. One small negative - we had 2 garden view rooms between the 4 of us. Our daughters shared a room which has a fantastic shower - good pressure and coverage. A week stay for a family of three in one of the small apartments. The room was fine with all the facilities we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was getting a little tired hence only 4 stars. The pool was enjoyable. We didn't use our car all week - we hired a tandem and bicycle from the hotel and enjoyed discovering the lovely island via the many cycle routes. Ideal flat countryside for cycling. The bikes were in good condition and hire rates were competitive with other providers

The location is outstanding very close to a magnificent beach and only 5 mins by bicycle to the town which has an excellent market especially for fish. A bicycle is essential travel on Isle de Re and great fun. The rooms are quite amazing and very intimate indeed. The restaurant which is shared with a sister hotel is of a very high standard as is the Ocean restaurant in the town,so good dining alround. Heated pools a bonus.
