"The property is beautiful, but not even close to half the size of what it looks in pictures and very different. There’s actually nothing much to do except wine tour considering it’s very far from Florence and the cabs are very expensive to go and back. We had to wait more than an hour to get a drink and chips in restaurant as there was nobody there between lunch and dinner hour. So if you get late for lunch, there’s nothing to eat until dinner hours except coffee. It would have been nice for place to have at least some sandwiches or snack to grab between meal hours, considering there are not any restaurants nearby. The place can be a good idea if only you want some quiet time away from city. I do not recommend it if you have children or want to do activities!"

"We loved Castello di Montegufoni. We felt like royalty in our large rooms. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was small but adequate. I plan to go again. This is a great place to stay as a base when visiting Tuscany. "

A highlight was the stunning infinity pool; lounging there with a panoramic view of the rolling Chianti hills was pure magic. You can even order olive oil from their groves and wine from their vineyards to take home or they will assist with the shipping! It’s rare to find a property that hits a **perfect 10/10** in every category, Villa le Calvane does it effortlessly. We cannot wait to return!" "

"Our stay at Villa La Capella was nothing short of perfect. The two owners, Paula and Anthony, were both such incredible individuals. I have never experienced anything so warm and welcoming during my travels. The hospitality they provided went above and beyond what anyone would expect or could ask for. My partner and I will be returning again and again, if not for the most gorgeous views of the country side (or the beautiful and elegant Kobe, one of three resident dogs that live there) but for the warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere that Paula and Anthony have cultivated. "Das Haus und der Garten sind einfach unbeschreiblich, es war einer unserer schönsten Urlaube überhaupt. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr grosszügig, und alle Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, sodass wir alles zubereiten konnten, was wir uns vorgenommen hatten. Wir waren eine grössere Gruppe und konnten dank der guten Lage viele verschiedene Orte bequem mit dem Auto erreichen. Besonders genossen haben wir die gemeinsamen Abende draussen mit einem schönen Glas Wein haben wir den Tag entspannt ausklingen lassen. Meiner Meinung nach war das Haus sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos – ein authentischer Toskana-Stil. Es war ein absoluter Traumurlaub, wir sind begeistert. Auch alle anderen Gäste waren es. Gerne kommen wir wieder."

The location in Tuscany is perfect for day trips to Siena, Florence, Lucca, etc. Bruno provides exceptional attention to detail. "Wonderful staff here. Simona! Natalia! Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Lovely area. It is remote but remote can be a wonderful thing. Only suggestion is the shower leaks because the shower door is not sealed. So a rethink there. But otherwise fabulous and highly recommended. "

"We loved staying in this ancient apartment! We ended up spending 5 weeks living here. The master bedroom at the top was our favorite!! The kitchen was great, the downstairs shower had fantastic water pressure, the neighborhood was beautiful, the neighbors were quiet, we felt safe, and we really were impressed by the fabulous communication we had with the hosts before and during our stay. They were simply lovely."
