The Barnstaple Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little hotel. Fantastic facilities, (the pool is lovely and warm) and everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped (even with a fridge) and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are ever in need of somewhere to stay in North Devon."

"Superb 15th century Inn, in the depths of the Devon countryside, so much character. The bar was busy all evening, with a couple of decent ales and the restaurant was excellent. My only small issue was that the shower was a bit 'spray the room'. The lady on duty that evening was really helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again."

"Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality, There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day. However there was a large quay-side carpark opposite the hotel so there were no problems with parking. Will definitely return and cannot recommend them highly enough."
