"Only comments are how hot our room was and breakfast waiting staff appear to have little serving training. There was a small fan in the room but could do with something more cooling or larger fan. Great facilities and although we didn't eat lunch/dinner, the food looked amazing. Waiting staff lent over us eating to clear plates of our party on a couple, of occasions, also took the fruit as I was picking & barged past us at the servery a few times. However, this experience wont put us off going there again and we will definitely stay there again"

"We were met with a friendly staff member who gave us advice on how to navigate around the roadworks as it had taken us a while to find a way in due to road closures. The room was lovely, very clean, good amenities, nice big shower and comfy beds and pillows. We had a drink and food in the bar area which had a really nice atmosphere and the breakfast in the morning was well organised and very enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. It was good value for money and we were able to leave our car in the car park whilst we visited the university. A lovely experience. "

"It was alright but not up to tue mark as the tub was blocked while bath and their was no one to accompany to the room while check in just hand over the key. And their was not air con workbg as we payed hight price with all the facility to be mentioned while booking. Otherwise the stay was good but not up to the mark as we payed for it."

"The hotel was ok as it was a very hot weekend i found the rooms very uncomfortable as for air-conditioning you had a fan in the bedroom to keep you cool only problem was you had to leave it on all night. Would i stay there again yes as long as the weather is not too hot "

"The Belfry is brilliantly well run. The staff are by far the best I've ever met in any hotel in my entire life. Truly brilliant. Friendly, engaging, funny, professional and confident. Proud of where they work and their part in it. Not unctuous just terrific. They should let the managers run the country. And before you dismiss my enthusiasm for the ramblings of someone who doesn't get out. I travel the world always staying at the best hotels. The Belfry was my third that week."

"Lovely hotel .Reception check in pathetic,only one person for many guests waiting to check in.One person in the bar on one of the hottest days of the year.Took forever to get served and gave up in the end."

"Great Hotel in general so I’ve given full marks, however considering there’s no air-conditioning and just a fan they should provide bottles of still water for free especially at £160 per night for the cheapest room."
