"Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily. Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended. Very impressed

"We were very impressed by the De Vere, a beautiful place, very comfortable. Loved the Library Bar and restaurant. The breakfast, with loads of,choice and variety was impressive, and the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. Although no air con, a good fan was provided, but then the weather was particularly hot! We also enjoyed the Tipi restaurant, lovely food, with excellent waiting service. We would definitely return, to check out the area generally."

"A real surprise. As good as many a top hotel for a quarter the price. Spotless, comfortable, generous tea and coffee and biscuits in the room. Large flat screen tv. Excellent mattress. Plenty of toiletries.plenty of luxurious towels.Was quiet although close to the road. Slept like a top. What’s not to like? "
