"Would love to rate this property but unfortunately on arrival found it to be occupied so only got to see the front door. "Wonderful stay at this lodge. Nice and clean, towels and robes provided. Hot Tub cleaned before and after our stay. Site was lovely and peaceful. Only slight negatives was the bed in the master was a little uncomfortable and only limited crockery. Overall though was fantastic and we will definitely be back."

"A good budget option for a family or small group. About half an hours walk to the city centre and you can use the walls for part of that which is nice. Self check in via key box is very convenient and they sent a list of shops/restaurants etc which was also nice. Towels and sheets are professionally laundered which I appreciated. "Lovely property but some improvements needed. We really enjoyed our stay in this house which is so near the river, park, Bishy Rd and central York. The property does need some serious talc especially paintwork, outside space and some of the basics provided such as only one tea towel for a 10 day stay.
