"​I recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo York and had a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable—you are right in the heart of the city and can easily walk to the city center in about 8 minutes. ​The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay, which really made a difference. I also have to highlight the breakfast, which was absolutely awesome—definitely one of the best parts of the morning. ​My only minor complaint was the shower design. It suffered from the same issue I’ve encountered previously at another IHG hotel; the use of a half-glass panel instead of a full door meant that water splattered everywhere, making a mess of the bathroom floor. It is a shame, as a simple full glass door would have been much more practical. ​Despite that, everything else was excellent. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming base for your time in York, I would definitely recommend it."
