"The farm has excellent views to the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of Skipton.
The farmhouse was spacious and the rooms were cleaned every day.
Staff members were always helpful during my say, and the breakfasts were very good."

Nestled in the Yorkshire Dales, this charming village serves as the perfect base for hiking the famous Three Peaks challenge. Grab a hearty meal at the local pub before exploring nearby limestone caves or watching the Settle-Carlisle railway cross dramatic viaducts.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

It wasn't easy to find - thank goodness for the satnav! - but it was certainly worth finding. Set in tranquil countryside with not a street light in sight, this hotel is a haven from the frantic world. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, the room was of a high standard and the breakfast was as close to perfect as it could have been. we were served tea and coffee in the comfortable lounge on arrival, given fresh milk to replace the uht pots on the hospitality tray and were made to feel...

My wife and I stayed at Throstle Nest for 2 nights this week and had a great time. The Skiptonn area provides a lot to do and see and we found this Band B to be an excellent base. The setting is great with country views from the bedroom which was really well appointed with all facilities on tap.

Very conveniently located for the railway, Tesco and the town centre. Warm, friendly welcome. Nice complimentary refreshments in the room. Tastefully decorated room. There are quite a lot of stairs to reach the upper floors, and there is no lift.
