"Very easy to check in, polite member of staff on reception who gave me all the information needed. The room furniture was very retro, the room looked well maintained and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and maintained. Some external noise as my room was facing the main road. Overall a very pleasant experience, I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Northampton."

"Clean, comfortable with a decent pub, you get a 20% discount on food which makes it very good value for supper. East parking, quiet location, nice water location, decent breakfast and good value, hard to see any downsides."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was ok but defo had areas that needed a bit of a deep clean. Bar on the top floor was great and it’s in a really good location, parking in the multi story next door was surprisingly cheap!"

"Nice bedding ; decent bathroom; welcoming bar and good bar snacks. If on ground floor by carpark a bit noisy but set in a nice location about 1.5 miles from Northampton and a nice walk past Delapre lake"
The French Partridge

"Our second stay - returning because we love the uniqueness of the French Partridge so much. The staff are amazing and the food is excellent. Super breakfast, lunch and dinners - you won't ever go hungry as the portion sizes are really generous and lovely fresh produce and a really good menu choice. The bar area has a lovely ambiance and we slept so well - the mattress and pillows were so comfy. Plenty of car parking. There are no lifts so make sure you get one of the bedrooms on the first floor if you have any mobility issues. We went to watch the ELMS at Silverstone on the Sunday so the French Partridge was a convenient 25 mins country drive away. We can't wait to go back next year!"

"The room was suitable for my stay, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was good, but the extractor fan either was not functioning or was not very effective. The television was unreliable, but the room was clean, and I enjoyed my stay."
