"So. This review only refers to the hotel. Schluchsee and the surrounding area is amazing and I absolutely recommend the restaurant Seehof in Schluchsee, although they also have service issues. The hotel is by far not as nice and comfortable as advertised in the pictures and on Expedia as a whole. The rooms are quite frankly a catastrophe in this price segment; no amenities except for a fridge, no AC, no ceiling fan, not even a water boiler. Hotel zum Ochsen Schönwald

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly and helpful staff, did not have time to use the amenities but common areas inside the hotel and surrounding outside looked very attractive; breakfast was fine but could be improved in particular as far as variety of dishes and availability of salads and vegetables are concerned"

stuub todtnauberg

8/10 Good

"The views were great. Comfortable beds, private jacuzzi, overall a great stay!"

BERG & BERG Apartments - Bad Zurzach Self-Check-in

10/10 Excellent

"We love the clean rooms and comfortable beds , we would gladly stay there again."

Hotel Hofgut Sternen | Ravennaschlucht

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderful three night stay with several meal options, hiking, and shopping! The room in the main building with balcony was wonderful, bridge view and creek was very well thought out with several plugs, spacious, and a comfortable seating area. You don’t feel “stuffed” in the room. Parking, WIFI and breakfast were great! This hotel serves the Viking cruise line and other touring groups so they work hard to make it better than most! The chef from Portugal in the lower shop canteen was wonderful and he spent a little time with us because it was rather quiet. When you are so far from home the extra friendly visits mean more than can be expressed! We should have remembered your name!"

Sombea

10/10 Excellent

"Spot on thank you. Very nice place."

Hotel Schwärs Löwen Freiburg

8/10 Good

"The hotel is old, rooms are old, however, it was very, very quiet, safe and clean. The breakfast was excellent, very hearty with lots of variety. A great place to stay right outside of Freiburg with easy driving access to the old city. We would stay here again."

Jufa Hotel Schwarzwald

8/10 Good

"Room with superb view!"

Wellnesshotel Sonnenhof & Sonnhalde

10/10 Excellent

"Breakfast was superior with vegan options"

stuub langenbach

8/10 Good

"Clean property. Sauna was amazing - would have been better if there was a shower just outside just to cool down. Provided with us a card which allowed us to visit numbers of place free of cost - saved used around $$$. Issue checking in due to iPad not working (as no front desk available). The booking said they provide with a card which allows us to travel for free on local transport - never got it."
