I received a very warm greetings g when I arrived and was shown to my room, the room was very clean with a view of the train station which was amazing. I had dietary requirements and they were very happy to help. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return

Stayed as a stop gap between Scafell Pike and The West Highlands. Good location, just out of a town, but quiet. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, very friendly, efficient staff. The only possible criticisms I could think of are that the rooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned, but we're of a good standard, and it would have been lovely to have an alternative to tea and coffee provided in the rooms (like a mint tea or similar), but these really are pinickity things. Very good hotel, wonderful...

The hotel was just at the end of some upgrades. The new bar looks amazing. I only stayed for 2 nights, but when the lady at breakfast found out I am lactose intolerant the next day there was everything I needed to enjoy my breakfast. Thank you

Excellent location for where we wanted to go and visit. Great views and excellent dog walking opportunities. Look forward to staying again in the future. Dogs enjoyed themselves too. Bed very comfortable, shower very good.

Great location close to shops, very well equipped kitchen, USB wall plugs a plus, with good lighting throughout. Full size refrigerator.
Car parking was unpredictable and dependent on vacant spaces as no dedicated space for the unit.
Dish washer in kitchen but no clothes washing machine (although they did provide an air drying frame). Access was via fairly narrow 2 flights of stairs and would be challenging for less mobile visitors. There was some noise transmitted , particularly from the...

Lovely position and inside rooms were good. The let downs were the outside areas entering the property the steps were grubby and dirty so a bit offputting, also the outside patio area was unusable due to it being overgrown and dirty. INSIDE the only fault was lack of tv information and no visable welcome book in veiw. We found the book just by chance a black book on a black stool in the corner of the kitchen.put it in full veiw

Cleanliness was great!
Garden is big but not very well maintained.
It would had been good if there were some toiletries (no handwash, no shampoo or soap anywhere - had plenty of towels and napkins) which I feel is basic necessity and not everyone would carry it unless aware of not having it in the house and there is nowhere you can buy it from nearby.
Overall cleanliness was amazing, location and space is nice, and I would book it again for these reasons.
