"I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business.
Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown.
With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me.
As my stay extended in to the reopening period post...

I had a very early train to catch at the adjacent station the following morning and preferred to stay overnight rather than have to get up at 3am to travel from home. Ample parking immediately next door in the station carpark. Speedy check in. Room was super quiet and well provided for with tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, etc.

Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.

We loved our stay beautiful room and property's. So convient to walk to a pub that serves lovely food. And also so conveniently jst by the local park and ride so we were able to park car at hotel and jst bus into center and no worry about parking else where. Wlll certainly be back.
