The room was so small and hardly can move. There were no place to put suitcases. No A/C. They brought us a fan. The public bath was nice.

It was always good value but the atmosphere is now cold. The hotel is completely inflexible about check-in times but has removed the lobby chairs. The staff are not very friendly. I don't think Covid19 warrants that. However, it is still a cheap hotel.

Was really lovely place to visit Himeji from , local to all of local attractions . Staff very friendly and helpful . Mainly Japanese guests but staff did speak some English to us to help . The relaxation room was fab and you could go there in your hotel pjs and relax and read . The spa was great too we went in the private spa which was lovely as we were a little anxious about completely stripping off ! We asked for a upgrade as the first room Was smoky and very small and for A very small charge the staff did this so easily for us . Would recommend getting the larger room if you like some extra space

Easy 10-min walk from Himeji station or there is a free shuttle bus that runs on a regular schedule. Staff speak some English. Hotel looks impressive but internally seems to be a mix of old and new. Our room, while perfectly adequate, seemed a bit tired and dated. In contrast, the spanking new luxurious onsen on the ground floor was a real treat (free to hotel guests). We treated ourselves to the breakfast buffet which was huge and varied, and had a nice supper in the cafe/dining restaurant on the second floor the first night. The area around the hotel is mostly offices and other hotels so not many dining options, better to return to the station area for those. My only complaint would be that Housekeeping did not pull our door closed so the room was unlocked all day (luckily nothing was taken and anyway we had our important valuables on us). When I tried to report this to the front desk as feedback, their English was not up to understanding my meaning at all.

Good sized rooms and great onsen.
Pleasantly large room with twin beds. Very good onsen with multiple baths. Breakfast was good. Only drawback is location - about .5 k south of the train station and that much further from the castle. The hotel does have a shuttle, which we used a couple times.

A twin room is quite small with few sockets. It's not very convenient for 2 tourists who have chargers of mobile phone, powerbank and camera batteries.

This is a mediocre hotel at best. Seriously, there’s NOTHING special about it. Rooms are super small, building is old and smells funny, staff is probably the rudest we’ve met in Japan, and the only positive thing we were looking forward to, the bathhouse, has “no tattoos allowed” plastered all over the place, so we couldn’t even go in. That’s just an ignorant and discriminatory policy. Would not recommend this place at all.

The location is near the castle. We can get the shuttle bus to himeji station twice a hour and we can borrow the free bicycle from front desk.

The bed was a bit of a rock but other than that it was a great hotel. The only problem we had was the air conditioner smelt like cigarettes when we turned it on so we left it off for the night we were there.

The staff were very nice. However, the room advertised as good for 2 adults and 1 child was very misleading. The website picture and the actual room very different. It was VERY small and inconvenient. We chose from the picture. Shocked by the tiny size. Closet sized! All furniture was jammed in. Will NOT recommend to ANYONE.

Excellent Hotel Choice for Himeji Castle Visit
Excellent value. Compact, clean, quiet room. Bathroom had a slight smell but as I used the superb Spa it was not an issue. Free bike rental, nice helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast included. On the opposite side of the station to the castle but a reasonable walk or public buses. Hotel courtesy bus to the station

Comfortable hotel but a bit far from station
Hotel has a popular onsen bath area, with a number of different baths. It is 15 minute walk from the station on the south side of Himeji station, and away from restaurants/nightlife. So many guests seemed to be arriving by car etc.

Dated hotel with great onsen
We booked this hotel as a last-minute trip to Himeji, and chose it largely because it was the only non-love hotel available. We had to take a smoking room due to this. Hotel staff was nice. The entire place stank of cigarettes, however. If you're allergic, don't go here. Even the lobby stinks. Our room stank so we opened the window and kept it open our entire stay. Other than that, the room was clean but really dated. The onsen on the other hand was amazing. They have several different baths including a cold bath, and saunas. Tattoos are not allowed, but the onsen staff was really nice when I asked them about it: I have a couple small-ish tattoos so they just gave me some bandaids and let me in. This hotel is about 7-10 minute walk from the station, maybe 30 from the castle depending on how fast you walk. Would recommend the onsen but not the hotel itself.

Nice hotel with awesome onsen facilities
This hotel has interesting onsen facilities that it has various types of pools/ponds, indoor and outdoor, which are good for your health in different ways according to the onsen descriptions. It provides free shuttle service to Hemeji Station. It will take you around 15 mins to talk to Hemeji Station.

This hotel is a good value for 1 night stays. The rooms are small, so 2 people staying more than one night together in one room would feel uncomfortable. The amenities are all in excellent condition, fast internet and a comfortable bed. The staff are great. However like with many hotels, this the rooms feel generic. The best feature of the hotel is the onsen spa.
